On April 1, 2023, the Family Support Division (FSD) restarted annual renewals for Missourians who get MO HealthNet (Medicaid) health coverage. If your annual renewal results in less coverage, FSD will mail you an Adverse Action Notice at least 10 days before they take action to reduce (lower) or terminate (end) your coverage. If you get an Adverse Action Notice in the mail, don’t assume FSD is right!

You can help make participants aware that they have certain rights, especially if their annual renewal results in an adverse (unfavorable) action from FSD.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3)—Ozarks Area Community Action Corporation, or OACAC, is opening its summer energy assistance program to help people with their energy bills this summer. The program starts June 1.
If you’re at risk of getting your energy shut off, OACAC may be able to help. You just have to apply. You can do that online, in person at their Springfield office, or over the phone. If you’re receiving winter assistance, you’re eligible for the program and do not need to reapply.
