The Legal Services Corporation has awarded a Technology Initiative Grant to the Legal aid of Western Missouri in the amount of $91,124.00.
The 2023 Hon. Richard B. Teitelman CLE, hosted by the Simon Law Firm, P.C. will be held on Tuesday, June 20th at 8:30am – 12:30pm.
This seminar is approved for 4.2 hours of Missouri CLE Credits, including 1.0 hours of Ethics & 1.0 hours of Diversity. Illinois CLE credits are pending.

Urban homesteading is a unique opportunity for individuals with construction skills and/or experience in home repair to acquire and rehab homes in poor condition. Eligible properties are truly abandoned and cannot be purchased or otherwise acquired.
The houses must be
1. Vacant for at least six months continuously;
2. Delinquent on taxes for at least two years; and
3. A nuisance (property should have open codes violations).

Starting April 1, 2023, the Family Support Division (FSD) will resume annual redeterminations of eligibility for all Medicaid and CHIP (MO HealthNet) participants. This process is called annual renewal. Some participants will no longer be eligible for Medicaid benefits, if this happens to you, you may be eligible for special enrollment periods (SEP) to get coverage through your employer or from the Health
Insurance Marketplace (healthcare.gov).
